After nearly a decade, Ashley Tisdale has returned with a heartfelt comeback track titled ‘Voices In My Head’, ahead of her highly anticipated third studio album Symptoms.
This new track is Ashley‘s first single (related to an album) since the release of her album Guilty Pleasure (2009). And it clearly shows a softer and more mature approach to music, blending pop with more minimalistic sounds.
‘Voices In My Head’ is about Tisdale revealing all her insecurities and vulnerabilities. She sings “I got these feelings I try to bury down/ But they keep screaming/ And I’m just tryin’ to filter out somehow/ But they don’t wanna leave,”.
But she sings about her lover and all the support he brings to her. “They get in the way/ And start a fire/ But you never let us burn away/ You’ve got me figured out,” she dedicated to him.
