Princess Nokia Embraces The Y2K Aesthetic With JLo-inspired video for explosive new single “It’s Not My Fault”

After releasing two albums simultaneously in 2020, Everything Is Beautiful and Everything Sucks, and reaching a viral hit on TikTok with her single “I Like Him”. Princess Nokia is ready to begin her journey with Arista Records with the release of her first material of 2021, “It’s Not My Fault”.

This new track was influenced by the famous subscription site OnlyFans and Jlo’s iconic “If You Had My Love”. In fact, Princess Nokia and her team got the blessing from Paul Hunter, the director of “If You Had My Love”, to recreate the video’s entire concept.

“My video symbolises my mainstream coming of age, just as it did Jennifer’s. It symbolises the average millennial woman, taking control of herself as the subject. I control my narrative, and I celebrate my beauty. It’s hyper-futurism, and almost 22 years later, we are moving into a more interactive era.” – Nokia said in a statement.
