Hailing from Dallas, Texas and now living in Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Zoe Zobrist is here again to bless our ears with her unforgettable melodies and her silky voice.
She was just 5 years old when she learned to play the piano, and she began writing songs only 2 years later. Her passion for music was fully ignited when she fell in love with the hard-hitting choruses and memorable melodies of classic rock that she found on her father’s 70s-era record collection, in the garage of her childhood home.
Now, she returns with “Fade Away,” essentially a musical exercise in self-forgiveness and acceptance of unresolved trauma. Her smooth, dusty vocals over a stripped-back acoustic guitar, is all that Zoe needs to keep growing her fanbase with intimate and sincere records like this one.
“It’s about growing pains and healing as you work your way to and from different chapters in your life,” Zobrist writes. “It’s about looking towards something better while also embracing the process that it takes to get there.”
